Disclaimer – Spoiler Alert!

I will try not to spoil anything on this main page, but be warned. This website is intended to point out events or themes within a movie which I find are stupid. I cite specific scenes, and dialogue from the movies I discuss. The very nature of this excercise spoils events of the movie. As such, this blog functions less as a preventative measure in avoidance of such movies, but as a mental excercise after having viewed them.

Welcome to MovieStupidity.com. I am stupid. Seriously, I’ll be the first to admit it. I am probably a terrible writer, i’m forgetful, and absent minded. So you’ll see alot of stupidity coming from me. But we’re not here for my stupidity dear friends and readers. Oh no.

We’re here to look at the stupidity found in these multimillion dollar movies, with their teams of writers, cast, and crew. Hundreds of people employed and focusing on a single project. You would think that with so many minds dedicated to a single task, that it would be hard for errors in thought or process should slip through the cracks, but no. That is not the case. And I wish this were a site, that was dedicated to the nitpicky problems found with movies, but unfortunately, this too is not the case. No, what we are discussing is blaring plot holes, awful mistakes, and terrible decisions made within these stories. Things that should have been ironed out. Things that shouldn’t have seen the light of day. Things that were probably well known, but the creators thought that we were either too stupid to notice, or too decensitized to crap to even care. These are good movies and bad movies. These are movies that move you, and compell you go through a spectrum of emotions. These are the movies you watched from beginning to end, and thoroughly enjoyed. The difference being that after (or maybe during) the movie, as you amble your way through a throng of movie goers, past the over crowded bathrooms even though you have to pee (you’ll hold it till you get home), you start to think to yourself “Why?”. Why did they do that thing when they could have simply done the other thing. Why did that guy say what he said, when it was so obvious or unimportant. Why weren’t they warned? Why didn’t they follow up? Why?

Basically. Why was that so stupid?

  2. Hey! didn’t see a quick way to contact so feel free to delete this comment. Just wanted to advise you of a typo in your right sidebar, you have “site” in the line ” I site specific scenes” where I believe you mean “cite”.

    Have a great day!
